Holiday Special: 2 layer Carmel Cake and Sweet Potato Pie
This is my second year ordering the holiday special and, being the matriarch of the family, it is now established as an integral component in our gathering. The cake is moist; the balance of icing and cake brings back childhood memories that I never thought I would recapture. The sweet potato pie is embraces my mother's seasonings and silky texture. Thank you for this annual opportunity to enjoy more than just a dessert.
Cakes 4 Layers - Caramel
I have purchased many cakes over the past 10 years from Brown Sugar Bakery, there isn't one cake I have had from this bakery that I didn't enjoy. It is very hard to pick a favorite. The Caramel cake is moist, sweet and such a delight to eat.

My family have the sweet potato pie for thanksgiving my brother said this was the best pie he ever I wish I could give my review but he ate the whole so I know it the best in the world

Caramel cake, Yum Yum caramel cake. I gotta give me some every time I pass by the store. I want to walk right in the door and give me another slice of that caramel cake. Yum Yum Yum.

2 layer Cake - Red Velvet
My son is a red velvet cake connoisseur. Since he was four years old he has had a strong opinion about red velvet. When he turn 16, I dropped him off at his school ( Mount Carmel) for a football game. I decided to take a little drive around the neighborhood to waste time. As I turned a corner I saw a long line down the street. People double parked and popping in and out of this little bakery!! I figured I had some time so I would see what all the fun was about. I grabbed a Carmel and RED VELVET! After we got home I just left them in the fridge, thinking we would have them for the weekend. This was Monday night. Well by Tuesday night the red velvet was almost gone and both of my sons asked if" I could just buy all of our cakes from the place by Mount Carmel?" So now Brown Sugar Red Velvet is our family staple! Not to mention every family party and special occasion! Thank you Brown Sugar!! So happy I took that turn down your street! You're our new family tradition!
